The Central New York Area Health Education Center held their first MASH Camp of the year in Auburn, NY at Auburn Community Hospital. MASH Camp, or the Medical Academy of Science and Health is a fun education day camp for students to explore health careers. Campers who attended MASH Camp at ACH were able to experience what it is like to work in a hospital through fun and interactive workshops. This year, campers explored the operating room and learned how to suture and cauterize incisions on raw chicken breast; Socialized with residents at the Finger Lakes Center for living during an ice cream social and lunch gathering; Practiced sorting medication using Skittles down in the Pharmacy Department and much, much more!

Cayuga Medical Center is the next hospital to host MASH Camp this year on June 26th and 27th. For more information about MASH Camp please visit: https://cnyahec.org/mash/.
